Just recently started trying to get AnyConnect v3.1 IPSec VPN working. When I launch the browser on our test DSL machine I get challanged for authentication etc.... After this it downloads the VPN client and profile, and I get a working connection, as I can access my intranet sites.
The problem I have is after I disconnect the established connection, and try to re-establish via the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. When I try this I get, "The VPN client failed to establish a connection'. I have checked some forums, and have not found any credible answer so far. One pointed to amending the AnyConnect Client Profile so that the Server List Entry points to the FQDN and not the IP address of the VPN gateway, which brought me no joy.
