I had been using AnyConnect for several hours last night, then I forgot I had it on and closed my laptop and it went into suspended mode.
This morning when I opened my laptop it of course said the VPN connection was lost. I try connecting again and AnyConnect times-out in about 3 seconds saying:
"Connection attempt has timed out. Please verify Internet connectivity."
Now I've been using Skype, other websites, and now this website, so the internet exists. And a co-worker is also connected to the VPN, so the server exists. However I cannot ping the server and traceroute turns up ALL time-outs through the first 15 hops before I killed it.
I have quit AnyConnect and restarted it, but that made no difference to any of this.
What's up? What did AnyConnect do to my laptop?
