AS5520 with active/standby

Hello,

I'm considering an AS5520 solution with certain features, including ASA 5500 series software and 100 SSL VPN licences.

If High Availability solution is necessary, a second AS5520 box with similar hardware and licenses should be ordered.

In that case, the active AS5520 box can take avantage of the 100 SSL VPN users license of the standby equipment(which would totalize 200 VPN users) or not?

Hi,

If you want to have Active/Standby setup, you probably can't use the standby unit for its SSL VPN user license.

In this mode, standby unit (Failover Only license), will inherit SSL VPN limit from the Active unit.
