ASA 5510-SSL VPN

We have an ASA 5510, with SSL VPN setup. We have users logon to the ASA/SSL VPN, and then use the Citrix ICA Java Applet to allow users to access Citrix Published Apps. This works well 90% of the time. However, there are times when users will logon, and either the section for the list of available apps is completely blank/missing, or they select an application, and nothing happens. The only fix is to reset/restart the ASA.

Anyone else run into this? I am currently running: 8.0(4) Code on the ASA.

Hi

When the ASA freezes up are you seeing any logs in the ASA before restarting ? also when u face this kinda issue are the clients able to ping or trace the ASA or the internal ips from their PC ?

No, that's what's strange. Nothing in the logs. And yes, folks can still ping the ASA. In fact, it's still functional. IPSEC Clients and Tunnels remain operational, as does the actual Firewall...
