ASA 5520 Routing problem

I have ASA 5520 . please understand my topology

OUTSIDE----ASA---INSIDE--CORE SWITCH

I have a pc connected on core switch ip 172.16.3.3 and other pc is 172.16.3.5.

when i am connecting from Remote VPN i am able to ping 3.3 but no able to ping 3.5, WHY

I have inside route on ASA 172.16.0.0 pointing to CoreSwith. with this route why my 3.5 not pinging.

if i will add specific route for 172.16.3.5 pointing to Core switch, then i am able to ping from remote VPN.

Can any one help me to undersant why it is happing like this.

Re: ASA 5520 Routing problem

Do you want to post a "show route".

Is the vpn client pool a subnet other than 172.16.3.0?

Re: ASA 5520 Routing problem

Thanks for yours quick responce, please help me on this.

Please find my route

route outside 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Public IP

route inside 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0 Core Switch IP

with this route i am able to ping 172.16.3.25 but i am not bale to ping 3.32

if i will add route for

route inside 172.16.3.32 255.255.255.255 Core Switch IP

then it will work.
