ASA 8.2 Port Forwarding through L2L VPN

Hi

I have L2L VPN up and running between Site A and Site B, and have been trying to setup port forwarding when Site A source network 172.28.98.64/28 send connecction to 10.163.209.56 on port 25, the connection is forwarded to real inside smtp server address 172.16.14.73 on port 25

tried using policy based static pat:

>access-list policy-nat-smtp-server extended permit tcp host 172.16.14.73 eq 25 172.28.98.64 255.255.255.240

>static (inside,outside) tcp 10.163.209.56 smtp access-list policy-nat-smtp-server

and simple static nat

>static (inside,outside) tcp 10.163.209.56 smtp 172.16.14.73 smtp netmask 255.255.255.255

but no glory...just wondering if someone has been through similar setup?

any assistance is much appreciated

Best Regards,

Ahsan Rana
