ASA and Windows Server 2003 DHCP for VPN clients

Hello. I am trying to configure an ASA IPsec vpn client to receive an IP address from a windows server 2003 dhcp server. I have succesfully done this except for one feature which is assigning a static IP address to the VPN client based on their MAC address. When I look at the MAC id for the VPN client on the windows server it is a very long string that exceeds the normal 12 digit hexa-decimal address. Is there a setting in the ASA to tell it to pass the mac address of the VPN client?
