I am trying to use this method to authenticate but I can't seem to get it to bind to the ldap server with the id and password given to me by the customer. Customer assures me the id and password are correct and I agree the id is right because I keep logging it out attempting to bind to it. Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?
Have you tried the authentication tool with the ASA and attempt to authenticate the user from the ASA to your LDAP server to make sure that the secret key is correct and that there is no device between the ASA and the LDAP server that is restricting access?
