We are in the process of replacing both our PIX and VPN 3020 concentrator with a new ASA 5520. I am not having an issue migrating the PIX config to the ASA but am stumped in regards to setting up the VPN. I have just started going through the documentation on CCO but so far the samples do not give me the basic core VPN setup. They seem to start with VPN already up and in operation. If I can find setup documentation I think I can understand questions such as ... Do I use the 4th interface for the VPN? Do I simply use the existing outside interface and it has both the PIX operation and VPN operation? Would this be the same IP address or do I use unique IP addresses? I have about 15 unique VPN tunnels and 6 LAN-to-LAN configuration I need to migrate from the VPN concentrator to the ASA but not sure where to start.
