Hi,
Can anyone confirm the maximum number of IPSec peers that a ASA5520 with an IPS module can handle?
Most of the Cisco information states 750, but the IPS datasheet states 300?
This could be a typo etc... but it might make sense that the addition of IPS features impacts IPSec performance..
Thanks

750 is the max number of VPN peers you can have on ASA 5520.

Thanks for the response Gilbert. I have seen the ASA datasheet but i am concerened that the IPS datasheet (link above) gives contradictory information.
Have you real world experience of the IPS version of the ASA, and can you confirm that it will support 750 peers whilst utilising the IPS feature?
Thanks
