can asa check hardware id of user's PC

Hi All,

We are planing to deploy cisco SSLVPN but have a trouble with this requirement: " the ASA must be able to check user's hardware ID before authenticated the user. the hardware ID is a hard disk serial number".

the hardware id and Active directory username/password form 2 factor authentication.

is that possible to do it in ASA ver 8.2

Thanks

Tao

Re: can asa check hardware id of user's PC

If you mean MAC address, this is possible, but you would have to use Cisco Secure Desktop with Hostscan, so those attributes would be returned to the ASA for evaluation.
