Can I configure ipsec on sup720 without vpn module or spa?

I wonder if Is it possible to configure the ipsec on sup-720 without service module.

if possible, How can I configure to ipsec on sup720?

In my opinion, IPsec is just ios sub-feature set. so It seems to be working with Process like Router.

AFAIK - as long as you are running a crupto version of IOS, IPSEC is supported.

As per the release notes, this is only supported for purposes of management access to the 6500/7600 itself.

"Without a SPA-IPSEC-2G or IPsec VPN Acceleration Services Module, the IPsec Network Security feature (configured with the crypto ipsec command) is supported in software only for administrative connections to Catalyst 6500 series switches and Cisco 7600 series routers."
