Cisco Anyconnect VPN client is having a problem

Hi All,

 

If anyone can help solve this problem. I have a user which is having a hard time connecting to VPN using Cisco Anyconnect VPN client and everytime he clicks the connect button this certain error pops up without having an attempt to connect to the the site. the error is seen below:

 

Could not connect to server. Please verify Internet connectivity and server address.

 

I have checked everything and i can even ping the VPN address. i have also checked the machine's adapter settings and it was clear (no static IP and DNS declared)

 

i have also attached the screenshot.

 

Hope someone can elighten me with this error that i have for almost a week already.

Questions:

1. Can user resolve the "myvpn.bmcgroup.com"?

2. Is this an isolated problem? No other users are affected? (Guessing it is)

How about trying this:

1. Please send us the debug logs during connection

-It should be on the AnyConnect UI, go to Settings->VPN->Message History Tab

-Kindly send us the messages when you attempt to connect

 

2. Instead of the FQDN/URL, try using the actual Public IP address of myvpn.bmcgroup.com w/c is 12.28.146.254 i guess based on 'nslookup'

Hi,

Only 1 user experienced this problem. All other users are doing fine.

I will post the logs in a moment.
