Does anyone know if the Cisco ASA 5500 series can produce a session timer for users on portal page? We transitioned from a Juniper AS4000 that does support this. I have programmed a max connect time and idle timeout, however our end client wants the ASA to display the session connect time for users after they log in (i.e. so they know how long they have left). This is for Clientless SSL WebVPN. Any insight?
I am familiar with the feature you are looking for but unfortunately the ASA does not have have a visibile countdown timer for clientless WebVPN. The idle and max-session timout settings will provide a popup to the user approximately 1 minute before the session is set to expire.
