Cisco Device Manager v3.0(2)

Via my local browser, I am unable to connect to the CDM setup. I see the following error at the bottom of the browser.

exception: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission 192.168.1.1:443 connect,resolve).

I can connect via console fine and have complete access, just not via https:

I am accessing from a WINXP machine and it has the latest java appl & patches.

Any suggestions here?

Thanx

RS

PS... this is for a PIX 501 device

Re: Cisco Device Manager v3.0(2)

Loking at the error message received and the problem you are facing, I assume there can be the following two reasons for this.

1. Some access list should have been configured in your network to deny the https request from your pc.

2. Or, it should be a DNS resolution issue. DNS is not able to resolve the requested CDM page. To verify this, try the same browser from some other pc to access the CDM setup.
