I am a junior 1st line support engineer working for a large fresh produce manufacturer in the UK. I have an Apple iPhone 3GS (16GB) with VNC installed on it. When I am at home and attached to the WiFi I can VNC from my iPhone to my personal laptop.
Is it possible / do CISCO have an iPhone VPN application that I can use so when I am away from my office I cab connect to the VPN and use the VNC app to remotely manage servers??
The company uses as standard CISCO VPN Clients (vers. 5.0.05.0290) on thier laptops so the infrastructure is already in place there.
Yes, it is very much possible but the issue that I have normally seen with the apple iphone or ipad is that they connect and you can access devices but only when you use the private ip address rather than internal dns names. still figuring out why that happens.
