clear all vpn data

is there a way to remove everything involving a vpn and start over? using cli or asdm?    

reset it to the default

You trying to remove the configuration from  ASA or router?

If it is ASA, then you can run following command:-

clear configure crypto

It will remove all crypto commands from ASA.

This wont effect anything but the vpn stuff?

Yes, this command will only remove crypto commands from ASA.

If you want to remove all the tunnel-groups, you need to run command "clear configure tunnel-group".
