Client to Router VPN

Hi

Im configuring a vpn connection from a Cisco Vpn client 4.0 to a Router. The ip address of the inside interface of the router is in the same subnet than the address asigned to the client(Local Pool).

The problem is that i cannot ping some devices that are too in this subnet.

For example the Router inside interface is 10.0.0.1

the other device is 10.0.0.2... and the Local pool is from 10.0.0.20-10.0.0.30.

And i have an access-list configured in the following format:

access-list 115 permit ip 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 any

Which could be the problem??

Re: Client to Router VPN

I wouldn't recommend using pool addresses from the local subnet. Use a different subnet all together for the VPN clients.

Check out:

Make sure you select "IPSec Client to Side VPN".
