Clientless SSL WebVPN bootmarks 'CSCO GHOST'

I'm currnetly using a cisco ASA 5520  running IOS 8.2(2) for for users to view a couple of book marks via the webVPN portal.

All the bookmarks work except one, and then its only part of the webpage.

The intranet webpage displays correctly however one of the links brings up a form, when the user submits the form the following appears.  Can anyone explain the code below....users are starting to shout...I've looked on the cisco site and cant find anything, other than a Cross site scritping issue that was fixed in 8.2

        <script  id='CSCO_GHOST' src="/+webvpn+/toolbar.js"></script><script  id='CSCO_GHOST' src="/+CSCOL+/cte.js"></script><script id='CSCO_GHOST' src="/+CSCOE+/apcf"></script><script id='CSCO_GHOST'>CSCO_seppuku();$CSCO_cookie_ver=CSCO_WebVPN['get_cookie_version'](); if($CSCO_cookie_ver.length>0){document.write('<script id=CSCO_GHOST src=/+CSCOE+/cookie?v='+$CSCO_cookie_ver+'></S'+'CRIPT>');}</script>

<script  id='CSCO_GHOST' src="/+CSCOE+/session.js"></script><script  id='CSCO_GHOST'>CSCO_seppuku();sessionCheck('/+CSCOE+/ping.html'); setInterval("sessionCheck('/+CSCOE+/ping.html')",60000);setInterval("sessionCookieCheck()",5000)</script><head >

               </script><script id='CSCO_GHOST' language='JavaScript'>CSCO_seppuku();CSCO_WebVPN["flush"]();</script>

Re: Clientless SSL WebVPN bootmarks 'CSCO GHOST'

Hi Craig,

The script\code below is used by the ASA re-writer engine so that content can be re-written and presented to the End User. If you are having an issue with a specific bookmark then you can try to Smart-Tunnel the bookmark and see if it works.

If Smart-Tunnel doesn't work Or It is not acceptable in your scenario then the best approach will be to open a TAC case since this could be a re-writer issue and will need to be looked at in detail\bug etc.
