Should we worry about this mesaage.. We have GRE/IPSEC tunnel between two sites.. First site has 3700 and the second 1700..

Hi Ahmed

As pe rthe supporting doc its mainly because of the negotiations failure between the peers.

You need to check out the IKE and IPSEC parameters on both the peers and make sure you have the same parameters/keys defined..

%CRYPTO-6-IKMP_MODE_FAILURE: Processing of [chars] mode failed with peer at [IP_address]

Negotiation with the remote peer has failed.

Recommended Action: If this situation persists, contact the remote peer.
