crypto map bind only ethernet ???

Hi

I have HO and 10 branches. I want configure VPN between HO to Branches.

for this i create 10 crypto map in HO and i have one ethernet interface in HO . so i want bind it ethernet interface. like under this example. it is right ??.

before time i done this by tunneling concept. without tunneling concept it is done or not.

1. crypto map dc-br 101 ipsec-isakmp

2. match address 101

3. set transform-set dcall

4. set peer 10.10.10.2

5. description *** connect to branch1 ***

1. crypto map dc-br 102 ipsec-isakmp

2. match address 102

3. set transform-set dcall

4. set peer 10.10.10.3

5. description **connect to branch*****

interface etherneto/o

crypto map dc-br

thanks

Re: crypto map bind only ethernet ???

Hello biplb,

If I understand your question correctly, then yes what you need to do is to create 10 crypto map instances (i.e., crypto map dc-br 101-110) and tie the one crypto map (dc-br) to e0/0.

Re: crypto map bind only ethernet ???

I am confused by your question. Why do you need another crypto map? You are correct, you can tie only one crypto map to an interface. However, one crypto map can have many crypto map instances (crypto map 10, 20, 30, etc).

What you have in the example is exactly what you want. Just create the rest in and you done with the intial setup.
