CSR Cert Enrollment

I would like to know whether a Cisco Router supports generating a CSR (Certificate Signing Request)?

What Cisco IOS version started supporting this method for certificate enrollment?

Is there a hardware platform limitation?

I guess Cisco Router supports this, if what you mean is that the router requsting the Certificate Authority to sign its certificate. I am not sure from which version it is supported and I believe this is software dependant and not hardware dependent.
