dhcp relay through ipsec vpn tunnel

Hi, I'm trying to get dhcp relay to work over an ipsec vpn tunnel. The requests don't go through the tunnel -- they are originating from the ip address of the outside interface and bypassing the tunnel. I have tried adding a rule to the tunnel policy allowing dhcp traffic to be protected, with a source ip of the outside interface. Has anyone gotten this to work?

Thanks.

Re: dhcp relay through ipsec vpn tunnel

You're right the "ip dhcp relay source-interface ..." is supported on ASR 1000 only :( So, configure the relay on one of the hosts in your protected network.
