Disable automatic browser launch on anyconnect vpn login?

I am a developer/end user. Our 64 bit VPN client (currently ver 2.5.3055) automatically launches Firefox upon network login. Is there a way to disable this locally on the client? I see the <RestrictWebLaunch> tag in AnyConnectLocalPolicy.xml and thought that might have something to do with it, but I didn't want to mess with it without knowing exactly what it does.

I believe the tag is to prevent VPN users from using a web browser to log in, and download and start (WebLaunch) the AnyConnect client.

It sounds like your environment may have an "onconnect" script configured. Please refer here for details on that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't have sufficient rights to view the document you refer to, so I passed it to our admin to see if he can get to it.
