DMVPN and ASA

Network have a central site with two ASA and 30 branch offices(10-15 people)(each has 5 agencies(4-5 people)). There is requiremets for IP Telephiny.

Can I build my network with DMVPN using ASA? Does ASA support DMVPN? If no, can you give me some recommendations about which products and technology I can us with reasonable cost?

Re: DMVPN and ASA

Hi

Would suggest to check these data sheets to find out the features supported by ASA.

i dont think DMVPN is supported but i think you an make use of ipsec tunnels for that and pass ur voip traffic thru that .

if u dont want that kinda scenario to be in place then would suggest to check out for some routers like 1800 which can help u out to have the DMVPN set betwen these locations.

even you can think of 800 series routers but it all depends upon the connectivity u have with ur SP there in the branch locations..

i would suggest to check out the datasheets of the router models to find out the best bet for u ...

Hi

"i dont think DMVPN is supported but i think you an make use of ipsec tunnels for that and pass ur voip traffic thru that"

but this solution is not scalable and no support dynamic routing. In this scenario(mo then 150 agencies) it isn't good idea. In the beggining soluttion I thinked about two ASA (customer demand VPN, Firewall and Anti-x) , but now I think that this is wrong solution and know about two routers and two ASA in central+ 87x(support DMVPN) in branches and agencies
