I have 4 sites connected with vpn as star (cisco 2821) and I will have soon an MPLS network between these 4 sites. I would like to use MPLS as primary and vpn as backup link, and to migrate the vpn to DMVPN and OSPF.
One area( 0 ) for the central lan site and area 1 for central wan site (vpn and mpls) and all others sites (wan, lan, mpls), I have few route.
I would like advices about this solution and if I made mistakes
In an MPLS VPN configuration, the OSPF protocol is one way you can connect customer edge (CE) routers to service provider edge (PE) routers in the VPN backbone. OSPF is often used by customers that run OSPF as their intrasite routing protocol, subscribe to a VPN service, and want to exchange routing information between their sites using OSPF (during migration or on a permanent basis) over an MPLS VPN backbone.
