I'm running Anyconnect client 2.4.0202 on Linux Red Hat Enterprise 5.
The VPN will connect and it routes fine, but it doesn't change the DNS resolver. The resolver stays set to my home ADSL gateway meaning I can't access any severs on the VPN except by IP Address.
If I manually change /etc/resolv.conf and add in the correct domain, search and nameserver entries, then it works fine. Of course, when I disconnect the VPN (or, more critically, if it times out and I'm not there) then they need to be changed back again.
What do I need to do to make the name resolver automatically switch to the VPN DNS server when I connect?
