Documentation for mGRE

Hi Team,

I saw this URL: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a00801982ae.shtml

This is a sample mGRE config, however can someone provide a plain mGRE config that I can use?

Is tunnel protection and IP NHRP mandatory?

Our requirement is just spoke to hub communication without spoke-to-spoke communication.

If you are gonna have a spoke to hub communication why are you thinking on using mGRE? Tipically mGRE on DMVPN is used for spoke to spoke tunnel.

It depends on how many spokes you have. It is better to use DMVPN (mGRE) if you have many spokes.

NHRP is used to dynamically discover the tunnel endpoint public IP, thus not requiring the tunnel destination IP. This allows you to create just one tunnel on the hub, instead of one for each spoke. Hub and spoke will only have one tunnel each, regardless of how many spokes you may have.
