hi ,

I have a query regarding a scenerio about EzVPN on ASA.. I have adsl line comming on the modem (linksys) and i am using nat on it...therefore my inside network is using private network.. now i have to deploy EzVPN in this environment.. I have a query that can i use ASA within the network such that..it gets the fixed private ip.. and i configure port forwarding ( as used for webserver and exchange connection reasons) on the linksys modem and forward EzVPN related request to ASA and ASA will then connect the remote user to the office network...My first question is whether this is possible or not and if this is possible then what port should i forward towards ASA... thanx..

regards

Nareh

Yes, it is possible.

You need to forward the following port.

UDP 500

UDP 4500 (for NAT-T)

ESP (IP protocol number 50)
