How can I use MS Active Directory to authenticate to a PIX?

I currently have a PIX515 running 6.3 and I have created manual users coming in via PPTP (VPDN) to my protected network (Administrative nightmare). Is there a way that I can use MS Active Directory's user database and have the PIX refer to it for authentication? Or do I need Cisco's ACS software to accomplish this task?

yes, it is possible to use AD. Install IAS on the windows box and configure pix to use IAS
