How do I disable the vpnagentd on OS X Mountain Lion?

I notice that after I reboot my Mac laptop and have not run AnyConnect there is a vpnagentd running which continually logs various error messages to my syslog.  How do I disable the vpnagentd temporarily without causing a problem when I do want to run AnyConnect?

I have the same issue:

I have the same issue: `vpnagentd` runs as root even when I do not open the AnyConnect client. It tries to connect to my VPN server.

The process automatically starts again when I kill it.

Currently I block all connections to the VPN server and unblock them when I want to use the AnyConnect client. But it would be cool if the `vpnagentd` process would run only when the App runs.
