I am trying to setup a IPSEC VPN client connection for a client whose local domain is company_name.local and also do split tunnel. On the group policy, I am trying to define the default domain (so DNS resolution goes down tunnel) to company_name.local but the ASDM throws an error. I know that the current domain name recommendations would not not allow the underscore but I have to work with what I have. I am not likely to convenience client to rename their domain or similar alias scheme, since that would be easy for me.
Any ideas and of course they won't buy SmartNET since that would also make it easier on me.
