I'm trying to set up IPsec VPNs and I used the asdm wizard (asdm version 8.4, ASA version 8.4). Right now it isn't in production and is in a test environment. Whenever I try to VPN in I get an error on the asdm syslog saying "TCP access denied by ACL from x.x.x.122 to outside:x.x.x.225/443. So I've allowed all traffic to vpn to that IP address which is currently the same IP address as the outside interface. My acl is the following:
access-list outside_in extended permit tcp any interface outside eq https
access-list outside_in extended permit tcp any host x.x.x.225 eq https
access-group outside_in in interface outside
Yet I'm still getting the exact same error. The weird thing about that error is that it doesn't give me the specific ACL that is denying the access. There are no other access lists that could be possibly blocking that traffic.
Any idea what could be causing this issue because I'm stumped.
