Ipsec VPN over ATM Interface

Hi, I just want to know, how I can create the ipsec VPN over ATM sub interface in router.

Network details we have POP in US and client is connected to US pop viat1 line and it is terminated to serial port and from US pop to my Location we are having E1 connectivity. And it connected to again serial port of the router.

And VPN is created end to end.

Now we are going for ATM Network between My locations to US pop.

The question is can we create the same VPN over the ATM sub interface on my side and customer end Serial.

Pls advise.

Configuration of ATM in router.

Re: Ipsec VPN over ATM Interface

Yes there is no reason why not, first make sure that you can pick an ip address across this link so you know you have ip connectivity.

The only issue I can see is with the MTU values, differnet wan technologies can offer different values so I'd check this with your provider.
