In my router configure, there is a command of "permit tcp any 10.35.2.0 0.0.0.255 eq 135 ". I am concern if it is scurity of allow this port for whole subnet.

Specially after I looked at follow information. I am worry that above command might infection virus of Trojans for computer in this subnet.

Hi,

The first thing that we need to identify is "do we actually need this command?" The reason is, depending on which interface it is bound with and how the 10.35.2.0 subnet is reachable from that interface, we need to analyse the need for this command. There are fair chances that we don't need this statement in the router.

For confirmation you can probably send the running configuration of the router to me and I can look over it and probably suggest you something.

HTH,

Please rate if it helps,

Regards,

Kamal
