L2TP over IPSec - XP Client - Cisco 3000 VPN Concentrator

I'm using the following reference.

Configuring L2TP over IPSec from a Windows 2000 or XP Client to a Cisco VPN 3000 Series Concentrator Using Pre-Shared Keys

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2284/products_configuration_example09186a0080094aca.shtml

I've got the connection working fine my question is security related. If I understand this correctly there is no encryption used with this config. When looking on the concentrator the session shows as having no encryption. I want to use this for our remote users but I need it to be secure (encrypted). Is there any way to use the native XP VPN client with the Cisco 3000 and using something like 3DES?

Thanks,

Jason Weir

Wow, I am having the same exact problem. After following the instructions to the letter, the user is connected but without any encryption. Let me know if anything comes of this.

Thanks
