Does anyone have a configuration example?
or have you successfully established a tunnel between these two devices? or between SSG5 and Cisco ASA 5520?

Thomas,
Since, both the devices support the IPSEC RFC, you should be able to build the ipsec tunnel between them.
Below is a URL that has information on Configuring IPSec LAN-to-LAN tunnel between the Cisco Pix Firewall and a NetScreen Firewall. Eventhough, this is for a Pix, it should help you on the Netscreen side. Also, below is another URL between Pix and VPN3000. By comparing both the URLs you should be able to build a tunnel between the VPN3000 and Netscreen.

We figured it out. Local Network configuration was not matching SSG configuration. Thanks for your reply.
