We need to connect a remote office which is in another country to our Headoffice in another country. We want to create a tunnel between this two firewalls to allow for the LAN in the remote office to connect to the LAN at the Headoffice.

We dont seem to be getting the tunnel up. Is creating a tunnel between 515E & ASA5510 acceptable? The network on the remote office is 160.8.85.0/24 and the network at the headoffice is 160.8.32.0/22, 160.8.10.0/24, 160.8.25.0/24, 160.8.25.0/24. Could someone help please?

Hi

This should be perfectly possible. Attached are two links

1) Pix v6.x Lan-to-Lan setup

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a0080094761.shtml

2) Pix v7.0 / ASA v7.0 Lan-to-Lan setup

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a00805a87f7.shtml

Have a read of them and if you still can't get it working please post your current configs so we can help you further.

Hi,

If PIX or ASA IPSEC S2S VPN works with Juniper and CheckPoint, S2S VPN between PIX and ASA should work!

Can you post your config and the OS Version for both firewall?
