Re: looking for advice pix 506 & 837

Mark,

If both the 837 and Pix 507 have Static Public IP Address, then please follow up the below URL to set up the IPSEC Tunnel.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a0080094498.shtml

If one of the VPN Servers is getting an IP Address via DHCP, then you need to configure the remote VPN Server to accept dynamic connections.

Please refer the below URL Configuring PIX-to-Router Dynamic-to-Static IPSec With NAT

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080094a87.shtml

Let me know if it helps.

Regards,

Arul

Re: looking for advice pix 506 & 837

Mark,

I recommened to use static ip addresses between the pix and 837. Place a ip route statement on the pix pointing to the adsl router. Use the global command statement on the pix for internet access from inside the pix. Setup ISKAMP and Crypto statement with preshare key for your peer to peer vpn connection.

Thank you
