memory leak on anyconnect

Hello,

I am trying to deploy anyconnect 3.0.354 on win xp, I have 8.4.1 with CSd 3.0.577 on ASA-5585, I keep seeing vpnui.exe on client being incremented gradually and over the weekend value was 100 MB. Did any one have deployed 3.x client and experienced this issue?

memory leak on anyconnect

Hi Keyur,

for the version of CSD did you mean 3.5.1077  (AFAIK there is no 3.0.577)?

In any case if the version is not 3.6.x then this could be due to:

CSCti35153    OPSWAT causes memory leak

This is believed to be fixed in 3.6.

memory leak on anyconnect

Yes I meant 3.5.1077, I will try 3.6.3002, but in a mean time I did tried csd 3.5.1077 and host scan 3.4 and it seems that it resolved the issue with vpnui.exe  memory but it launches a new csan.exe with statrt with 22MB and gradually decrease  as vpn session ages. But would try 3.6.3002 and see if that make a difference.

Thanks for the reply.

Re: memory leak on anyconnect

Look like the issue is still present in CSD v 3.6.185. Document say that this version has a fix for cscan.exe and ciscod.exe memory related issue but issue is still there.
