Multiple dynamic to static VPN for remote VOIP phones
I have set up multiple PIX 501s for remote Cisco 79XX phones to access the VOIP servers and phones in the LAN. One of the PIX 501s is the central firewall whose inside interface is deirectly connected the central LAN. when I make calls to the central LAN phones from remote VOIP phones, I can hear them but they can not hear me. does anyone see that I am missing any configuration? Here I attached my central and remote end PIX configs.
Re: Multiple dynamic to static VPN for remote VOIP phones
It could be anything between your microphone and their speakers. Try with another set of phones first if you have not done this. Make sure you are using the correct port numbers in the "fixup" command. These VOIP servers must be working on these port numbers as well. Another check you can do is to first check if encryption is working both ways by doing a simple ping test between the two LANs.
