I am getting quite frustrated.
I have a WRVS4400n. I have service from DYNDNS.com to get me a dynamic DNS.
I need to be able to connect to my home network remotely to control my homes automation system.
I am having a hard time creating the VPN tunnel successfully.
In the IPSEC VPN page I create a new Tunnel.
I don't know what to put in under local group setup or remote group setup.
As of now I have the Local Security Gateway Type as IP + Domain Name (FQDN) authentication. For the domain name I have entered my dyndns stuff. It is nyusername.dyndns-ip.com.
The first IP address is greyed out, and it is displaying my external IP.
For local security group type do I do subnet or IP? What is the IP address and subnet below? The IP address of this router is 192.168.1.1.
What do I enter under the Remote Group Setup? I'm just going to be connecting from my Android mobile phone.
I appreciate any assistance. I have to get this up and running and I am running out of time.

EDIT: I have setup the DDNS service under WAN and it is connected successfully.
