Need help with 5510 VPN IP Address w/Anyconnect Client

Hey All - we use the ASA 5510 to replicate many different offices into our datacenter. Is there any way to hard code the IP address on the Anyconnect Client? If the machine reboots for any reason, the ASA 5510 may hand a new IP address which disconnects our replication. We need to set a static IP that the Anyconnect Client uses permanently.

Hi Lynn,

Assuming that you're using local authentication, one option is to use the ''vpn-framed-ip-address'' command under the user attributes.

i.e.

Let's say there's a user ''cisco''

user cisco attributes

  vpn-framed-ip-address x.x.x.x

This will be assigned to the same client always.

Federico.
