not a valid Cisco Anyconnect VPN client image

Hello,

It's my first post so sorry in advance if I miss something.

My devices: 2 ASA5515 with IOS 95(2) et asdm 7.5(2) in Failover.

I already use Cisco VPN Client and I want to improve my service with Anyconnect IPSec client for Windows 10 devices.

In ASDM, Remote Access VPN-> Network (Client) Access -> Anyconnect Client Software

when I add a package downloaded on Cisco.com software download site, at the end of the Upload Image process I get this warning message:

"File has been uploaded to flash successfully, but the uploaded file is not a valid Cisco Anyconnect VPN Client image."

In the top of the page "Anyconnect Client Images", I see "Anyconnect 2.5 dowload" link but I uploaded the file anyconnect-win-4.3.02039-pre-deploy-k9.msi.

Is it the cause of this message?

Sarah

Hi Sarah,

You do not want to load the .msi package to the ASA.  The ASA requires the .pkg file.

Full installation package - Windows / Head-end deployment (PKG)
anyconnect-win-4.3.02039-k9.pkg

Regards,

Steve S.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for this quick correct reply.

I'm really new with anyconnect configuration and I was a little bit lost.

Sarah
