I'm having trouble accessing the Device Manager (PDM) on a remote box (using RDP) that uses Java 1.5.05.
The error is:
exception: java.security.AcessControlException: access denied (java.util.PropertyPermission java.version.read)
It works on my local box which uses Java 1.50.4.
How can I fix this? I have NO knowledge in Java.
Thanks,
Tom

i guess the version of pdm the pix running is v3.0. in order to resolve the issue, you may either upgrade pdm to v4.1 or downgrade the java plug-in on the pc.
for pdm v3.0 system requirements:

for pdm v4.1 system requirements:

Upgrading PDM to 3.0(4) (from 3.0(1)) fixed it.
