PIX isakmp identity adddress vs hostname ?

Hi

how can I specify the hostname if the default is isakmp identity choosen (hostname) ?

And again, I have different peers configured on my PIX, may I use for some identity address and for other hostname ?

Ric -

You can use the command " isakmp identity address" on the PIX to change from hostname.

To answer your second question, you can either use "isakmp identity address" or " isakmp identity hostname" or the other option is "isakmp identity auto" (if you are running 7.x version of code on the PIX).
