Do you have any firewalls in your network ? Firewalls can normally prevent this from going onto the WAN. You can also use the security features (if any) on the router to prevent this. You can use simple ACL's and make sure this does not go on the WAN link. First you need to identify this portscan (source & destination) and try to isolate or clean the source computer. In addition to this, you can apply access-control-lists on ur firewall/router to allow only port 80/https/ftp traffic from inside to outside. Any other traffic can be logged/dropped. You can also have a local syslog server, which can log such activities and makes life easy for you.
