Printing to remote location in VPN tunnel

I have to take over a site because of a co-worker leaving. The latest issue is that there is a problem printing from one site to another through a VPN tunnel. The users can ping the printer and even web to the jet direct box but does not print. Is there something special that needs to be done.

The clients are connecting from Indiana to NJ and terminiating onto a vpn3000 box. Than once in the tunnel they are logging into a Citrix server and attempting to print back at Indiana from the Citrix server in NJ.

Are you saying that the users can ping and http to the jet direct from the Citrix Server?

Usually the biggest thing with printing thru a VPN connection is the default gateway on the printer. A lot of the time it is never set. But if they can ping and http to the Printer from the citrix server this is obviously not the issue.

The printer can be pinged and http'd to from the Citrix server.
