Hi,
Can anyone try to help me.
I'm newbie using cisco router, i purchase this one CISCO1941-SEC/K9 to be a VPN server, but i can't make the router to connect to the internet.
I think the problem is because my ISP provider supplied the service with a GPON Terminal HG8012H, i search around for a solution, and i think that with the GPON terminal i only can use a router with Vlan.
Can anyone confirm this?

Hi Julio,
On This case, please go ahead and verify the following on your router:
1. Routes --> Gateway of last resort with next hope IP address <ISP modem>
2. Do you have NAT set up on your router?
for example:
access-list 102 permit ip <XXXXXX> any
XXXXX--> Inside subnets
ip nat inside source list 102 interface FastEthernetX/X overload
FastEthernetX/X --> interface type
Then do a tracert from an internal computer to check the hops and do it also from the router to any public IP address -->8.8.8.8
take the output: show ip nat translations
so we can verify if the Inside hosts are being translating.
I checked information about this modem:
- http://combasst.en.alibaba.com/product/60100212762-219931574/Huawei_HG8012H_GPON_ONT.html
And It should work,
Let me know how it works out,
Please don't forget to rate and mark as correct the helpful Post!

Are you portuguese?
I have a fiber connection from vodafone wich as IPTV, VOIP and Internet, if i connect cisco to technicolor router wich is provided by vodafone internet connection works, but i need de 1941 to be a VPN server and using the technicolor i cant get that, i have been reading about it and i think internet connection on the GPON is programed to work only with vlan 100.
