qos pre-classify on a sup720 in a Cat6509

Hi

I got a Cat6509-NEB-A with a SUP720-3BXL and a SPA-IPSEC-2G. I'm running IOS s72033_rp-ADVIPSERVICESK9_WAN-M), Version 12.2(18)SXF8.
There is IPSec in Tunnel Mode with an encrypted IP GRE Tunnel configured to reach 3 Branches.

As one branch is implementig IP- Telephony I need to configure QoS.

It is not possible to configure the qos pre-classify command on the crypto-map and on the tunnel interface.
Is this supported on a sup720 or will I have to upgrade?

Regards
Peter

Peter,

Unfortunately qos-preclassify is not supported on the  c6500 platforms.

Hi Peter,

As long as you done your classify and marking on the LAN side, you don't need qos pre-classify on your tunnel. The ESP header will keep the DSCP value by default.
